We invite you to discover a small historical and architectural treasure located in the heart of Villeneuve lez Avignon : the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame. This Gothic building, erected in the 14th century, bears witness to the importance of the city in the Middle Ages, when it was a popular place of passage and pilgrimage.
We can start by observing the exterior appearance of the collegiate church, with its turrets, its bell tower et its impressive facade.

Inside it houses numerous works of art, such as the faithful copy of the famous Pieta of Villeneuve lez Avignon, the original of which resides in the Louvre Museum.

You will then be able to gather in the adjoining cloister, a true haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Gothic arches and the carefully maintained garden invite you to contemplate.
