Le Carré du Palais
The Carré du Palais is a must-see place in Avignon, capital of the Côtes du Rhône.
It is a gourmet house for AOC wines, its cellar of 10000 bottles in the former vault of the Bank of France, its terrace facing the Palais des Papes.
Today, Le Carré du Palais has established itself as the benchmark for AOC Côtes du Rhône and Rhône Valley wines in the heart of Avignon.
On the dining side, there is a very fine bistro menu inspired by the Rhône Valley and Provence and dedicated to 100% Rhône food and wine pairings. Rhône wines are featured everywhere: a new selection of wines by the glass every month, more than 400 references on the menu (red, white, rosé, natural sweet wines)... We also offer rare wines from the prestigious cellar in the Carré du Palais
Tea room open 7 days a week with a variety of teas (Cha Yuan at €7) and homemade pastries at €5.
