Horace

Located in the heart of the Carmes district, a stone's throw from the Palais des Papes, Horace is a restaurant dedicated to French cuisine and the world of wine.

Opened in 2026, Horace offers home-style cooking that is generous and accessible, inspired by seasonal produce and the desire to rediscover restaurant cuisine that is simple, refined and convivial.

Wine plays a central role in the establishment's identity. The wine list particularly highlights wines from the Rhône Valley, with a selection designed to allow both the discovery of new estates and vintages and the pleasure of sharing a glass with a meal. Wines by the glass are also available to encourage pairings and further exploration.

Horace welcomes both visitors passing through Avignon and regulars, wine lovers and groups. The restaurant can also host business meals, seminars and private events, with the possibility of reserving all or part of the venue.

At Horace, the objective is simple: to offer a warm and epicurean experience, where people come as much to eat and drink well as to enjoy a convivial moment in the heart of Avignon and the Carmes district.

Enjoy a wine tasting of Rhône Valley wines with a sommelier! For groups of 10 or more, take advantage of this one-hour tasting experience. Three options are available: €20, €30, or €40.
