Nougats Laurmar
Between Avignon and Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, LAURMAR nougats are handcrafted by Bruno Delade, Master Nougat Maker. Don't worry, tradition is respected, as Bruno strives to select the finest products.
Do you know nougat?
Mireille and Bruno Delade invite you to (re)discover this Provençal delicacy with an authentic recipe that will delight your taste buds and might even win you over to nougat. The ingredients are local: the honey comes from the Valensole plateau, the lavender flowers from Sault, the orange peel from Apt, and the almonds from Provence. "It's important for us to use local ingredients," says Bruno, at the stoves of his nougat factory in Caumont-sur-Durance, "out of respect for the producers, the inimitable flavor of our region's products, and the preservation of tradition." A tradition he maintains with his own little secrets…
White nougat, soft black nougat and other delicacies with flavors of candied orange, cherry, lemon, salted butter caramel and even candied Nyons black olives are just waiting to be tasted.
Confiserie LAURMAR, located between Avignon and Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, invites you by appointment to watch traditional nougat being made in its workshop. You can also find our products at the most beautiful markets in Provence in Vaison-la-Romaine, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Isle-sur-Sorgue, Lourmarin, and Uzès.
