Family estate located in the Lirac and Tavel regions, also producing Côtes du Rhône. Young winemakers passionate about organic farming.
Jean-Pierre, Dominique and their son Romain created the La Lôyane estate in 2001 in the commune of Rochefort du Gard (30650) in the Southern Rhône Valley. Laure, Romain's wife, joined the estate in 2011. "La Lôyane" refers to the place where the estate was built. It is believed to be derived from the word "wolf".
The vineyard, which has been organically farmed since 2022, covers 20 hectares, spread across four appellations: Lirac, Tavel, Côtes du Rhône Villages, and Côtes du Rhône. The wines are produced using old vines, up to 150 years old for the Cru de Lirac, with low yields.
The wines of the La Lôyane estate possess the typical characteristics of our region: Power, Finesse and Elegance with unmistakable aromas of black fruits. They are the result of rigorous work throughout the year.
The vineyard is our most important support and we give it all our attention to obtain the best conditions for quality production.
The Côtes du Rhône are fruity, generous and elegant.
The Liracs, for their part, are all about finesse, with a controlled structure and freshness.
We offer a wide range of wines, each with its own specificities: age of the vineyard, vinification method, manual harvesting, forgotten grape varieties, etc. On-site sales at the cellar and delivery to order.
