Domaine de la Barotte

In 2008, we took over part of the 15-hectare family estate. Today, the estate covers 22 hectares.
Our farm is located in Roquemaure, which is the cradle of Côtes du Rhône.
We offer a wide range of wines:
» The red and rosé Liracs are made with the following grape varieties: Grenache noir, Cinsault, Syrah and Mourvèdre, which produce a spicy, fruity and tannic wine.
» The Côtes du Rhône red wines are made from Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grape varieties.
» The red and rosé country wines are the lightest and fruitiest thanks to Merlot, Grenache and Syrah.
» The Chardonnay will surprise you with its freshness, acidity and floral aromas.
» Tavel: Grenache, Cinsault Carignan and Mourvèdre, Côtes du Rhône white with Grenache blanc, Roussanne and Viognier (currently Plantier).
Almost all of our plots are organic, and the most recent ones are being converted. Our commitment to this method of cultivation came naturally because we were growing vegetables and, due to a lack of time, we were unable to treat them. Nature showed us that it was possible to grow without chemicals; we simply had to give nature time to defend itself.
The vines have been maintained for several years using plows and diggers. As a result, we have retained the knowledge of traditional work. In the spring, we practice green harvesting across the entire vineyard.
We look forward to welcoming you to our vineyard. Come explore our vineyard and winery. At the end of summer, we harvest table grapes such as Muscat de Hambourg and Alphonse Lavallée.
We are located one hour from the sea (Grau du Roi) and the mountains (Mont Ventoux). Our region is rich in monuments and historical heritage.
