Within the LIRAC appellation, in the heart of the commune of Roquemaure, lies Castel Oualou, an authentic family wine estate, nestled on a unique clay-sand terroir composed of rolled pebbles and limestone scree.
The Causses and Saint Eynes estates benefit only from rolled pebbles; and a clay-sandy soil for the Garrigues estate. The terroir benefits from an ideal North-South exposure.
This geographical configuration offers a privileged framework for the cultivation of vines, thus allowing the grape varieties to flourish in optimal conditions.
Location details
Close to the national road 580 which runs from Bagnols to Avignon and the Roquemaure motorway exit. A barrel at the entrance to the estate.
