The Lambert Collection is a prestigious contemporary art venue housed in two 18th-century mansions in the heart of Avignon.
It houses a unique collection of two thousand works of art from the 1960s to the present day, donated by art dealer and collector Yvon Lambert, including six hundred major works donated to the French State. The Lambert Collection permanently presents masterpieces from its collection, as well as temporary exhibitions by leading international artists and a cultural program aimed at all audiences.
THE NEW BOOKSTORE
The Lambert Collection has transformed its bookstore, now located in the heart of the exhibition halls. The space is now envisioned not only as a bookstore-boutique but also as a space for conviviality, meetings, and exchanges, fueled by an initial collaboration with the Kouk café-restaurant.
Specializing in contemporary art publishing, the bookstore also offers multiples and art objects published in collaboration with the artists and specifically for the museum, produced in numbered and signed copies.
IH: museum fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Last admission: 45 minutes before closing.
