Our hiking routes
Put on your hiking boots and set off on new adventures near your home! On the program:
- Vaucluse without fault will take you from Velleron to the Vaucluse mountains, experiencing dry canyoning.
- With from one river to another, we start hiking, we finish by canoeing.
- Gard side, through vineyards and hills, you will venture into caves caving.
Our cycling routes
Here, we have something for everyone and for all levels! Looking for a family adventure? From the Pont d'Avignon or Pont du Gard will immerse you in the landscapes of Gard and Gardon. I would go to sleep with the common cranes takes you to the Camargue! For the more athletic: a adventure in the Alpilles Gard side and a star hunt from Ventoux to Luberon.
Eco-friendly travelling
Since Grand Avignon, you will be spoiled for choice on the change your playground of your next adventure: the Regional Natural Park of Mont Ventoux, Luberon Alpilles, the Monts de Vaucluse, the Camargue, the Pont du Gard or even the valleys of Rhone and that of the Cèze are all places where you can fully experience an adventure off the beaten track near the Grand Avignon !
Fire risk, use of forest areas and bivouacs
Burnt areas continue to increase with climate change in the Mediterranean basin and 90% of fires are of human origin.
Before any walk in the mountains, please first check the fire risks in the area concerned:
The Montagnette massif remains closed until June 2025 (visit to Frigolet Abbey possible). See the decree. Bivouacs are prohibited from June 15 to September 15, unless the outing is supervised by an approved instructor.
Spring and autumn: ideal seasons!
In Provence, life is good all year round, but it can quickly get hot in summer.
We strongly advise you to come to thefall visit us at the spring or even in winter!
You will be able to enjoy the magnificent golden light of Indian summer or the mildness of spring.
Come by train or bus
For responsible travel, we recommend using the train or bus to get to your departure points. With two train stations (TGV and TER), Avignon enjoys an exceptional location. Just 2h40 from Paris, 1h10 from Montpellier, 1 hour from Lyon ou 30 minutes from Marseille, Avignon TGV station is located only 6 kilometers from the city center. It also connects you to the Avignon Centre TER station, from which you can easily reach our small villages: Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue, Morières-les-Avignon, Saint-Saturnin-les-Avignon and Montfavet station.
On the bus side, several companies are at your disposal: Orizo (the local network of the Grand Avignon), Zou (the bus network of Vaucluse and the South region) or Lio (the bus network of Gard and Occitanie). Note that the lines 707 et 915 allow you to load your bikes on board (subject to availability and reservation).

Whether it's the day before to recharge your batteries, or upon returning from your adventure to reward yourself for your efforts, enjoy your stay in the Grand Avignon for a gourmet getaway!
