from Goult
The “demanding route” cycling option
For the more athletic among you, you will appreciate the loop 33 – Gordes by bike 70 km, with 1274 m of elevation gain. The electric bike really comes into its own on this rather difficult type of loop.
Get off at the Goult “Lumières” stop (don’t forget your bike on the bus), and off you go for a cycling adventure between the Luberon and the Monts de Vaucluse! This route takes you to discover the hilltop villages of the Luberon and offers exceptional panoramas of the village of Gordes, the Abbey of Sénanque, and the villages of Ménerbes, Goult, and Lagnes.
At the end of the day, you will return to your starting point in Goult to collect the ZOU line 915 towards Avignon.

Calavon cycle route
The “family ride” bike option
To retrieve the Calavon cycle route, get off the bus at the “Coustellet Route d'Apt (MAUBEC)” stop. You will have a 2-hour walk (23 km without elevation gain) in complete peace and quiet.
On your way, we recommend a stop at the Pont Julien (monument of the Roman Empire).
Once you arrive in the village of Apt, the House of the Luberon Regional Natural Park is a great opportunity to discover the characteristics of this exceptional territory, recognized Biosphere Reserve and Global Geopark by UNESCOIt is open from Monday to Friday (free access).

From Apt
The walking tour option
We suggest you start by going to the Pays d'Apt Tourist Office to get some sound advice. To begin this hike Trail in the Luberon from Bosque to Pont Julien, departure from the Apt leisure center (484 Bosque). This 3-hour walk with a low elevation gain (+70 m over 11 km) will take you through the crops and scrubland of the Luberon to the Julien bridge, located in Bonnieux. Take the opportunity to admire the view of the village of Lacoste and the lavender fields in summer.
You will also have the option of taking the bus back to Pont Julien to reach Avignon (ZOU line 915) if the walk is too long.
Which transport to choose?
During your return to Avignon, you will be more or less tired depending on the option chosen, but we are sure that your head will be full of memories!
