At the edge of the industrial and port activity zone of La Courtine, nature nevertheless asserts itself, adapts and conquers new spaces.
This landscape was shaped by man; the developments of the Rhône were created by the CNR for the needs of hydroelectric production, navigation and agricultural needs.
Since the 1970s, when they were created, these spaces have been able to reconcile current and future uses and challenges while preserving environmental and landscape heritage.
