Description
La Barthelasse is the countryside in the city. It's a 700-hectare agricultural area on Europe's largest river island. In addition to this agricultural theater opposite the Palais des Papes, the island offers a virgin forest on the banks of the Rhône, home to numerous bird species, a population of beavers, and the precious otter, a sign of unspoiled nature.
