Starting from the Tourist Office (1), head to Rue de la République (2), a lively main thoroughfare, before discovering the Lapidary Museum (3), housed in a former chapel and dedicated to ancient civilizations. Then take Rue du Laboureur to reach the Angladon Museum (4), nestled in an elegant private mansion, and continue on to the Livrée Ceccano (5), a former cardinal's palace now converted into a library.
Head to Place Saint-Didier to admire the Saint-Didier church (6), a remarkable example of Avignon Gothic, then make your way to the Hôtel Berthon de Crillon (7) and the Rue des Fourbisseurs (8), typical of the old town centre.
Then head to Place de l'Horloge (9), the vibrant heart of the city, where you'll find the Maison Jean Vilar (10), dedicated to theatre and the Avignon Festival, and the Opera House.
