Description
Departing from Velleron, this waterfront ride will take you to Pernes-les-Fontaines, the birthplace of Paul de Vivie, known as "Vélocio" (1853-1930), an iconic figure in French cycle tourism who notably worked to improve the derailleur. You will then reach L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, nicknamed the "Venice of Comtadine." Take the time to stroll along its canals before reaching Le Thor, through orchards and cultivated fields. This tour was created by the Destination Ventoux Association and the Pays des Sorgues tourist office.
