In Provence, in the heart of the city of Avignon, charming 17th century guesthouse. 5 bedrooms with bathroom (or shower room), quiet, with swimming pool and large private garden, within the city walls.

Ideally located within the walls of the historic city, 10 minutes from the central train station, Les Jardins de Baracane allows you to enjoy the city, its restaurants and cafes on foot, to visit the Palais des Papes, the famous Pont d'Avignon as well as the many museums and churches.

Our guest rooms are a haven of peace, a place where our guests like to slow down.
During your stay, you can enjoy the city and our house, but also explore Provence; take a train to Arles or Nîmes; cycle along the Rhône to Château Neuf-du-Pape; or visit the Luberon, the Alpilles, the Camargue nearby...

Here you will stay in a house that is committed to sustainable tourism and the preservation of our environment.

We invite our guests to stay longer in the same place, to slow down, to consume locally, to moderate their water and energy consumption, not to change their sheets and towels during their stay, not to waste and to favor soft mobility during their stay and even before if possible.

As for us, we do not treat the garden; we sort, compost; we use eco-responsible products for laundry and household care; we choose our suppliers based on their proximity, their ethics and their concern for preserving the environment; we reduce plastic consumption; we recycle, use geothermal air conditioning and like to share with our guests our convictions and the areas for constant improvement.
