The variety of events offered allows it to benefit from a wide audience among all audiences.

An essential part of the cultural influence of the Grand Avignon, it also reserves a significant place for the contemporary repertoire, as well as for the promotion of young performers, singers and musicians. A place of artistic creation, the Opera Grand Avignon has the mission of presenting shows in the best possible conditions to the widest possible audience.

Every Saturday from 12pm to 13pm, you are invited to take a guided tour of the Opera House with a presentation of its history, architecture and various activities.

THE MYSTERY OF THE OPERA: 200 years of shows to be won
To celebrate its Bicentenary, the Opera Grand Avignon invites you to participate in The Mystery of the Opera, a series of original riddles. The goal? To reconstruct a mystery sentence from all the answers. The first person to succeed will win an exceptional privilege: a guaranteed ticket to every opera and every Ballet performance for 200 years.

This privilege will be symbolized by a key and a box made by the prop makers, and presented during an exclusive ritual, offering each winner and their descendants a privileged link with the Opera.

The puzzles, presented in booklet form in October 2025 and January 2026, are designed for all ages and skill levels. They invite you to explore the history, architecture, and behind-the-scenes workings of your Opera House, and some are fully revealed by participating in our guided tours or attending our performances.
