Le Carré du Palais

On the Place du Palais des Papes, the Carré du Palais is a must-see place in Avignon, dedicated to the wines of the Rhône Valley, gastronomy and wine tourism.

With its Rhône Wine School, its 100% Rhône Wine Tourism Bar, its impressive cellar, its exceptional lounges and terraces and its events throughout the year, it is aimed at visitors passing through Avignon, as well as conference attendees or the regional public.

The Carré du Palais is also a place of discovery on the theme of Grands Ferments, coffee, tea, chocolate, bread, charcuterie, cheeses, with workshop-shops, demonstrations and taste workshops for enthusiasts.

NEW: On Fridays in August and September from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., discover Avignon, the capital of the Côtes du Rhône, through a tour of the city accompanied by our sommelier. Upon arrival, a tasting of three wines will be offered at the wine school. This workshop is also suitable for families, with an introduction to aromas and games around biodiversity in the vineyard for the little ones.
