Sauveterre walk

The market

Every Saturday morning, the Sauveterre market takes place in the market square. It's a chance to find quality products while enjoying the atmosphere of Provençal markets.

Discover Sauveterre, a picturesque little town in Grand Avignon, on the banks of the Rhône River, where the Saint-Bénézet Bridge stands, close to the Palais des Papes. Its history, influenced by the art of the people who have lived there over the centuries, is visible through its streets through ancient stones; here a church, there a house, or even a castle. Also take the opportunity to taste its wines and other artisanal products. You'll also have a splendid view of Mont Ventoux, the Alpilles, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Sauveterre is a must-see for any lover of tourism, history, and art in France, if you ask us!
