"Roca Fortis" is a quiet and pleasant climbing area in a small, secluded valley, a stone's throw from the Notre-Dame sanctuary. It offers ideal climbing conditions all year round (even in winter!), thanks to its orientation and its wind protectionBeginners and experienced climbers alike will find something to suit them, thanks to climbing difficulty levels ranging from... 3b to 7a+, with many intermediate levels (5 and 6a). The site is suitable for family practice and is even labeled "Kids Welcome", and has a clear signage to access the different sectors and routes.

In summer, we recommend one of the 15 new north-facing routes that will protect you from the heat.

And since climbing can't be improvised, we advise you to contact the “Rochefort Escalade” association who will be able to advise and support you, but also YO ESCALADE who will offer you supervised sessions.
