1) INFORMATION on the ORGANIZATION of HIKES:
A. For the “WALK-DIFFERENTLY” HIKES
Schedule: Morning, meet at Ile Piot at 8:30 a.m., or at the starting point of the hike at 9:30 a.m.
Afternoon: Meet at Ile Piot at 13 p.m., or at the starting point of the hike at 14 p.m.
Please note, in order to broaden the possibilities, the same Rando Marcher-Autrement is offered once in the morning and once in the afternoon, on 2 different but close dates.
Hiking level: 5 to 6 km, on flat terrain and in a loop, half a day, with 3 or 4 landmarks (resource car). This organization allows you to walk "à la carte", according to your abilities.
Price: €5/person and Solidarity Price €1/person
B. For “GENTLE HIKES”
Opening hours: Morning only. Meet at Ile Piot at 8 a.m., or at the starting point of the hike at 9 a.m.
Hiking level: 7 to 9 km, maximum 200 m elevation gain, half-day in the morning, loop and without landmarks. Price: €8/P
C. For THEMED HIKES
They are organized for half-days or full days, with picnics or restaurants. Their level can vary between 6 and 15 km. A theme is associated with the hike: either a historical or cultural guided tour, a creative workshop, a tasting, etc.
The price depends on the person who provides the service. Departures can also be made from the Piot Island parking lot at 8 a.m., or from the hike's starting point at 9 a.m.
At the start of each hike, a CAR-SHARING SERVICE is set up from the Île Piot car park (free parking), next to the bus stops.
Participation fee for the Bus: €5/P, for a place in a car: €4/P
REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY to participate in the hikes: by text only at 06 89 16 44 18. Please specify: Name, first name, and whether you would like a seat on the bus or if you are offering seats in your car.
Registered persons will receive the instructions for the hike (starting point, description, specific information, etc.) a few days beforehand, by email.
CANCELLATION From you: Organizing hikes requires a lot of time and energy from the leaders. Please make sure you respect your commitment. If you must cancel for a serious reason, please send a text message to 06 89 16 44 18. Or from us: As a general rule, we do not cancel hikes if it is raining, except in dangerous cases: strong winds, orange or red alert. Registrants will be informed before 20 p.m. the day before.
EQUIPMENT: Don't forget to pack in your backpack: water, a raincoat or windbreaker, a fleece, a snack (dried fruit, cakes, fruit, etc.), tissues, and a small trash bag. You should also put your easily accessible "personal file" in your bag. This includes the contact details of the person to contact in case of an accident, the doctor's contact details, and all important information about you. It will be distributed to you at the start of each hike.
Bring good shoes and walking sticks for those who wish.
