Navette fluviale ("bac à traille")

The shuttle allows you to cross the Rhône for free from the Quai de la Ligne, near the Pont d'Avignon, to the island of Barthelasse, a starting point for exploring Europe's largest river island, on foot or by bike.
The shuttle allows you to cross the Rhône free of charge from the Quai de la Ligne at the foot of the Rocher des Doms to the island of Barthelasse, a starting point for exploring Europe's largest river island, on foot or by bike.

Crossing the Rhône by boat is a convenient and quick way to reach the opposite bank to continue your walk along the towpath, relax, and picnic on the lawns while enjoying a magnificent view. But it's also an opportunity to enjoy a pleasant trip on the water: a mini-cruise that offers a breathtaking view of the famous Pont d'Avignon!

Barthelasse Island is the countryside in the city.
A 13 km route, the “Barthelasse Island Bike Ride”, allows you to explore this green setting and discover its flora and fauna in complete tranquility.

The river shuttle operates from mid-February to December 31 – approximately every 15 minutes.

Capacity: 50 passengers – 7 bicycles allowed.

Dogs on a leash are allowed.

Please note: the shuttle cannot operate on windy days or during periods of flooding of the Rhône – contact the Tourist Office on + 33 (0)4 32 74 32 74.
