Around the Palace: This tour offers to discover the 2500 years of the city of Avignon by going around its most emblematic monument, the Palais des Papes. The Night Owl between Bourgeois and Christians Departure: Place des Carmes in front of the church entrance. This Night Owl takes you through the small streets of the city. These streets, which even some Avignon residents don't know, are full of history and legends. We will see how the city was built between its bourgeois and its Christians. We will start at Place des Carmes. After an introduction to the history of the city, we will admire the Carmelite church and the Augustinian bell tower. We will then set off through the small streets to discover the history written on the bourgeois residences. We will see the municipal archives and skirt the largest private garden in the city.
