French Immersion Stay in Avignon – Le Français chez Julie

You will have a charming, spacious, and fully equipped apartment. It is located in a listed building on a quiet street in the heart of Avignon. I can accommodate up to 6 people (2 large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a sofa bed).

As a certified and experienced French teacher for foreigners, also holding degrees in French literature, sociology, and anthropology, I offer three-hour French lessons every morning. Fluent in English, German, and Portuguese, I tailor my teaching to your language level, goals, and interests.

The best way to learn French is through informal immersion in France, in the company of a local. That's what I offer during your French Immersion Stay in Avignon. Learn cultural nuances, meet new people, sample the cuisine, visit museums, and discover the history of the country and the region.

During the week, two meals a day (breakfast and lunch) and two excursions are included, during which I will act as your guide. I will prepare breakfast and lunch for you. I make a point of choosing, with or without your input, high-quality ingredients from the market and cooking them the way my mother does. I will be happy to share all my little cooking secrets with you.

Finally, I will accompany you on two excursions or activities of your choice: wine tasting in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, canoeing under the Pont du Gard, an excursion to the small villages of the Luberon, or to the market in Uzès, truffle discovery, pottery workshop, etc. Everything is possible and everything is tailor-made.
