The Town Hall of the 9th arrondissement (Paris), the Town Hall of Avignon and the Association Les Amis d'Yvon Taillandier are dedicating two exhibitions to the centenary of the birth of Yvon Taillandier (1926 – 2026).
The art critic and historian, writer, poet, painter, draftsman and sculptor, had his studio at 8, rue de l'Agent Bailly in the 9th arrondissement where he created all his life.
He played an active role in the creative adventure of the second half of the 20th century. The town halls of the 9th arrondissement (Paris) and Avignon are showcasing unique works from the career of this tireless champion of modern art.
These events are in partnership with the School of New Images in Avignon.
