A tender word shouted loud and clear or whispered in our ear…that invites us into the intimacy of the archaeological, museum and archival collections of Vaucluse.
It suggests the inestimable value of these witnesses of the past, gathered in their setting, Memento, and offered to the gaze and curiosity of all.
Through a temporary exhibition, the Department of Vaucluse shares its most precious asset: its heritage.
In a thoughtfully designed exhibition, everyone is invited to discover treasures, both grand and tiny, sometimes hidden not to conceal them from view but to protect them from potentially inevitable deterioration. Each visitor can connect with the stories told through the collections, develop a symbolic attachment to them, and discover the subtle portrait they paint of the Vaucluse region.
By sharing its treasures, Vaucluse promotes their transmission and protection and invites you in turn to declare your love for it.
