After 18 months of work, (re)discover the restored garden with the management of Historical Monuments of the City of Avignon, as part of the Rendez-vous aux jardins event.
The historic cradle of the city, designed in 1863 by the famous landscape gardener Jean-Pierre Barillet-Deschamps, also the author of the Luxembourg Gardens, the Parc Monceau, the Parc des Buttes Chaumont and the Parc Montsouris, the garden which has just been reopened to the public is as much a unifying place of leisure for all the people of Avignon as it is an obligatory passage for tourists and visitors.
The Rocher Des Doms garden is part of the ensemble inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list, it is a classified site and recently, protected as a historical monument.
