Viens, je te raconte en musique… Violetta et Rigoletto

Through readings accompanied by piano, this show offers children a sensitive and playful immersion in the great works of the repertoire. Children's picture books will come alive thanks to readers from the Avignonet library and a pianist who will provide listening sessions featuring the major musical themes of the works.

On the program here is Violetta and Rigoletto, which tells the story of two little mice who get lost in an opera house. Through this adventure full of humor and poetry, children discover what goes on behind the scenes: the workshops, the costumes, the famous characters of operas, and will hear a selection of excerpts from the greatest operatic arias in the repertoire.

The production also relies on an immersive visual world: costumes, wigs, and accessories related to the story are displayed in the performance space. The readings will be performed on a Butai, a small Japanese picture theater that encourages a lively reading experience and enhances the poetic and spectacular dimension of the performance, while also offering a mise en abyme of the show's world.
