A Summer in Avignon returns from July 6th to August 20th!
The City has put together a program of mostly free, rich and varied activities.

A Summer in Avignon offers activities for everyone and across all neighborhoods of the city.

Open-air cinema, storytellers in the parks, sports activities… There will truly be something for everyone.

Storytellers in the parks, every Thursday at 10:30 am, Parc du Clos de la Murette (replacement at the Renaud Barrault library in case of bad weather):
– 09/07: Muriel Revollon “Tales from the 4 corners of the world” (suitable for all audiences from 4 years old)
– 16/07: Stéfanie James “The little path that smells of hazelnut” (suitable for all ages from 5 years old)
– 23/07: Valer'Egouy and Suzel Barbaroux “Colors of the Island” (suitable for all ages from 5 years old)
– 30/07: Rémi Garcia-Kerviel “In the hollow of the trees, a light” (suitable for all audiences from 6 years old)
– 06/08: Jihad Darwiche “Tales of Wisdom and the Orient” (suitable for all audiences from 6 years old)
– 13/08: François Ménager “The Storytelling Birds” (suitable for all ages from 4 years old)
– 20/08: Marie-Pierre Hoareau “Animals are hungry, hungry, thirsty” (suitable for all audiences aged 5 and up)

Sports and wellness activities from 9am to 10:30am:
– Chico Mendes Park: Qi Gong every Monday (with ITTCA) and Pilates every Thursday (with Positive Experience)
– Parc de la Cantonne: Every Tuesday (except 14/07) gentle exercise and every Friday yoga (with the Dojo du centre)
– St Ruf Abbey Park: Pilates every Wednesday (with Positive Experience)
– Clos de la Murette: Every Tuesday (except 14/07) yoga (with the center's Dojo)
– Barthelasse (Pinay alley): Yoga every Monday (with the center's dojo)
– Champfleury Park: Gentle exercise every Thursday.

Literary breakfasts, every Wednesday morning from July 7th to August 20th on the terrace of the Puzzle Library – 9:30 am to 11:00 am:

Join us in the parks from July 7th to 24th with the Ideasbox initiative:
Find your mobile library in the park. On the program: readings, games, workshops and other surprises!

– Thursday mornings at Square Indochine. From 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Suggestions for activities including reading, board games and outdoor games, creative activities. In connection with the Totem as part of the Avignon Festival and with the cultural programs set up by the Educational City.

– Friday mornings at Chico Mendes Park. From 9:30 am to 12 pm.
Suggestions for activities including reading, board games and outdoor games, creative activities.

From July 7th to August 4th, from 8am to 20pm:
In a large open space, come and spend the early evening with your librarians, enjoy creative and fun activities and relax in our outdoor reading area!
