The Chausson Trio and the Camerata Rosa Musica (a group of soloists formed around the Girard Quartet) are coming together to take on a bold challenge: playing Beethoven's Triple Concerto in a chamber version.
Between pushing boundaries and musical heroism, emotion arises from risk. There is also the risk of transcription, with a new version of Chausson's Concert, a cornerstone of the French Romantic repertoire. The Overture to A Midsummer Night's Dream provides the link, celebrating the freedom and vitality of chamber music.
