Stages et ateliers artistiques jeune public au musée Angladon : Le temps qu’il fait

They draw inspiration from the works of great painters, experiment with various techniques and give free rein to their imagination to discover and represent the weather in all its forms.

– Wednesday, April 15:
* From 10am to 12pm: Good morning, Mr. Sun
The sun, ever-present in children's landscapes, will be celebrated through the creation of their own portrait. Participants will be able to play with colors and shapes and experiment with a mosaic effect. They will thus have the opportunity to express their creativity by creating original works, notably through collage and mosaic techniques.
For 4-6 year olds.

– Thursday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 16 p.m.: Observation from nature
After some outdoor drawing and an introduction to photography, a picnic lunch is planned. The children will have the opportunity to capture the beauty of the surrounding gardens, then use these photos in a collage activity, working from their own "sketches of the sky of the moment".

– Friday, April 17, from 11 a.m. to 16 p.m.: All hands on deck, the Navy
Participants will take on the challenge of representing the sea, an element in perpetual motion. They will observe carefully and create sketches, drawing inspiration from paintings by Vernet and a Dutch artist from the collection. Particular attention will be paid to the effects of weather visible in the sky and on the sea. To enrich this exploration, several artistic techniques, such as ink, pastel, and paint, will be experimented with to discover those that best express the vitality of the sea and its ever-changing skies.

– Tuesday, April 21, from 11am to 16pm: What's your weather like?
During this activity, children will create their own "mood weather" cards and make a small lectern to display their creations. This activity will be enhanced by guessing games and discussions among participants, thus encouraging personal expression and a friendly atmosphere.

– Wednesday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: The cabin in the garden
Together, let's make a mini cardboard hideaway/cabin.
To celebrate the season's blooms and the variations of nature, a group activity will allow children to express their creativity.
