Spectacle «Aucèls»

Aucèls, which means birds in Occitan, is the result of a collaboration between storyteller Solène Rasera, musician Cécilia Simonet, and ornithologist Bérenger Rémy. In case of bad weather, the performance will take place at the Salle de la Cantarelle, on the road to Nîmes.
This ornithological-artistic moment is a weaving together of stories, songs, knowledge, and naturalist wisdom. The whole is sometimes serious, poetic, often artistic, occasionally scientific, and even sometimes humorous. Observing that bird populations are particularly endangered, Aucèls seeks to examine humanity's role in the decimation of life, with the desire to restore visibility to birds, remind us of their existence and vulnerability, and raise awareness of their preservation.
