Recollections – Richard Tuttle, La délicatesse du monde et Richard Long, Au-delà du paysage

The galleries now host monographic exhibitions of artists or highlight key periods in the collection and the history of contemporary art, rotating throughout the year. Current events in the French and international art world, as well as encounters with artists from all disciplines, provide ample material for these frequent changes in exhibition space.
Each of these repeated occasions highlights the richness of this Avignon collection, unique in Europe, and breathes new life into it, nurturing a constantly renewed curiosity for the Lambert Collection and its masterpieces, to be revisited continuously.

This autumn, the Avignon institution is honoring two artists who accompanied one of the decisive moments in Yvon Lambert's career, when, in the mid-1960s, he affirmed his commitment to an American and Anglo-Saxon scene that was still largely unknown in France: Richard Tuttle, The Delicacy of the World and Richard Long, Beyond the Landscape.
