Randonnée à thème : vins chocolats

The group travels by minibus to the start of the hike (meeting at Ile Piot at 8am).

Starting from the Castelain chocolate factory, the route initially crosses farm tracks through the heart of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards, on the appellation's typical rolled pebble soils. It continues between wine estates, including the Château Marcoil sector, offering beautiful open views over the Rhône plain.
The trail then leads to the old village, its stone alleyways, and the ascent to the ruins of the papal castle, a remarkable viewpoint overlooking the entire vineyard. The return loop follows different vineyard paths back to the starting point. Afterwards, we'll attend a wine and chocolate workshop led by a sommelier. You'll taste five chocolates perfectly paired with three wines: an unmissable sensory experience.
