Founded in 2017, the Elmire Quartet has established itself as one of the most promising ensembles of its generation. It is the first string quartet signed to the Scala Music label.
In 2025, the Elmire Quartet recorded the Razumovsky quartets for Scala Music, for which it performed the overture on the stage of La Scala-Paris; the 1st quartet opus 59, a true rebirth for Beethoven who, a few months earlier, wrote a moving letter to his two brothers, the "Heilligenstatdt Testament", in which he confessed to having wished to end his life.
