Projet « Racontez-nous votre paysage » – Corps, territoire et récits : entre finitude et infini

But what landscape are we talking about? Is it the one that surrounds us – urban or rural landscapes, mountains, streets, houses – or the more intimate one of our interiors, traversed by memories, emotions, projections?

It's a little bit of all of that at once: a constant back and forth between the outside and the inside, between the precise geographical territory and each person's intimate resonance. This weaving together forms a personal and unique landscape, which, when shared, becomes a collective creation. Exploring a territory in this way means accepting the multiplicity of scales: from the vast panorama to the almost imperceptible detail, from the macro that encompasses the mountain to the attention paid to a gesture, an object, a trace. This plurality of perspectives composes a living cartography, where the landscape is no longer just what we see, but what we experience and share together.

To tell the story of this landscape, we propose to do so through the body, through movement, drawing, and spoken word. We will explore a "dance" inspired by the landscapes we traverse. The word "dance" is used here in a broad and contemporary sense: it is not a predefined technique, but rather a way of considering any gesture, movement, glance, or reading as a form of dance expression. A movement of the eyes, the reading of a text evoking movement, or a spontaneous gesture can thus become an integral part of this dance. We start from each individual's unique qualities and potential to value what each participant can express.
