For this second opus, Xavier Machault aims to explore contemporary poetry by championing the abundance and diversity of contemporary writing. To give voice to and introduce authors who are challenging the codes of the genre by taking a fresh look at the world and its challenges.
To accompany him, Xavier invites double bassist Mélanie Loisel, who offers a unique style of playing on her instrument, somewhere between quasi-lyrical intensity and radical minimalism. Sound engineer Johan Caballé brings an immersive and bold sound signature, allowing the performers to achieve dizzying nuances.
