"Children's words"
The class, the work! at the Petit Palais Museum
For the European Night of Museums, Mrs. Pons's third-grade class at Joseph Lhermitte School in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon invites you to discover the "Children's Words" project. The students visited the Petit Palais – Louvre Museum in Avignon five times to explore our collection of Italian primitives, and they worked in class on writing short exhibition labels. The aim of this project is to allow them to experience art in a new way, developing their sensitivity, observation skills, and written expression. Prepare to be surprised and explore the Petit Palais – Louvre Museum in Avignon from a child's perspective…

REQUIEN MUSEUM
Get out of the mutants in time!
For Museum Night, you are invited to the Requien Museum for a unique scientific escape game dedicated to the oddities of zoology.
Throughout the game, you closely observe specimens with malformations, whose anatomical details – forked-tailed lizard, roe deer with multiple antlers, color anomalies, etc. – become the keys to your puzzles.
By carefully examining these organisms, you explore their origins: genetic mutations, developmental disruptions, or environmental factors.
Your observation skills and logic will guide you through clues inspired by genetics and embryology within the allotted time!

For 14-17 year olds: from 19:30pm to 20:30pm
For 18-25 year olds from 21pm to 22pm

Intergenerational performance
For Museum Night, the Lambert Collection is hosting a collective, intergenerational performance exploring the theme of care. The result of several workshops led by artists Charlie Aubry and Maroussia Rebecq, this project brings together students from the Inspire micro-school and residents of the Maison Paisible. Together, they explored the act of dressing as a moment of dignity, attention, and appreciation of the body: a way to care for oneself and others, to celebrate individuality, and to transform the time spent getting dressed into a ritual of transmission.

An exhibition display exercise led by Alexandra Siffredi, the Museum's mediator, with the children from the Workshop, highlights the works of the Museum's founders, Jean Angladon (1906-1979) and his wife Paulette Martin (1905-1988), who were students of the Avignon School of Art, artists and collectors.
