MifaMosa – De la rue au Cloître
Cloître Saint-Louis 20 rue du Portail Boquier 84000 Avignon
MifaMosa is an artist from Orléans who illustrates street names by placing pixelated mosaics above street signs.
Whether playful or humorous, these works are always full of color and poetry, accompanied by 3 circles as a signature.
Since 2017, this "street illustrator," as he tends to define himself, has been traveling across France and its neighboring countries to place his works in our streets. Hundreds of mosaics have since been created, contributing daily to bringing smiles to passersby.
Present in the urban landscape of the City of Popes since 2020, MifaMosa and the City of Avignon are pleased to present the exhibition: "From the street to the Cloister".
It is through around forty works, city maps, in situ photographs and studio elements that the artist will take you on a journey through the different illustrated French-speaking cities, with a particular focus on his works from Avignon.
Inauguration on Friday, November 7 at 18:30 p.m.
Free.
A raffle and a digital activity are also available. More details below:
