David Moreau and John Gade reunite for the first time on a duet album.
The John Gade-David Moreau duo was formed during their respective studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. Building on a close friendship, they have performed together in numerous concerts for several years. They will soon record their first duo album, devoted to Schubert's music for violin and piano, for the Scala Music label. From the solitude of a Bach partita to Schubert's perilous balances, including a few romantic transcriptions, this program presents only masterpieces and aims for the spiritual dimension, from a Jewish prayer to the joyful choruses of a Bach cantata.
