Masterclass Danse baroque contemporaine

Based on the choreographic research of Maya Kawatake Pinon – Compagnie FRICTIONS, this masterclass explores Baroque technique as a living, malleable, and constantly evolving material. The work is grounded in the perception of music, space, and the connection with others.
By drawing on Butoh traditions, the imagery of the thread serves as a concrete support for movement: it connects, supports, or restrains the body, oscillating between control and freedom. This approach evokes the sensation of a receptive and attentive body where awkwardness becomes a fertile tool for sensitive work.

Masterclass open to all, from age 8, with a minimum of dance experience in any style.
