This new creation distinguishes itself from traditional metaphysical and moral commentary to envision a current, concrete dramaturgy, and an experience on stage of the order of performance.

The theatre questions the present, the crisis, and the excesses of despotism. The will to power and betrayal are not reserved for ancient or Elizabethan tragedies; they also haunt our world.

Macbeth, or the apocalypse of evil!

But how does one cross the line into absolute evil?

This is perhaps the Shakespeare play that lends itself best to a nightmarish adaptation such as I envision – where magic, sorcery, Celticism and childhood will be intertwined.

Macbeth is first and foremost a story about a couple.

Thibault de Montalembert and his alter ego, the formidable Hélène Babu, will play all the characters, accompanied on stage by the outstanding musician Marc Chouarain.

When Shakespeare wrote, he was inhabited by all his characters, all his voices. I too long to join in this concert and share this dream with you.
