L’évasion libre
Parvis de la gare SNCF et église des Célestins boulevard Saint-Roch place des Corps Saints 84000 Avignon
When music and theatre explore redemption.
First fragment of a long-term, two-year, multidisciplinary project.
Free Escape is a musical and theatrical journey that transports us into the life of a young woman at the heart of a restorative justice process.
This original creation, blending live contemporary music and theatrical narration, is the result of a collaboration between the author and director Jean-Baptiste Barbuscia and the composer Elisabeth Angot.
Inspired by a shared reflection on freedom and justice, self-censorship and imaginary constraints, this project explores other ways to find peace after a tragedy, both for the victims and for the future reintegration of the perpetrators.
The music, far from being illustrative, engages in dialogue with the performer and embodies the questions raised in the text, offering an immersive and sensory experience.
