They're at the end of one thing and starting another. They've already been around the block, and have crossed paths at times. With their combined 191 years, despite the fatigue, wear and tear, and the great mess of this world, the flame is still there.
They will perform their circus in the circle of light. They then seek their acrobatics and their gags in the meanders of their know-how. They question the art of clowning. Putting the role of entertainer into perspective is a bit like a testimony. That's their show, a kind of documentary. Surrounded on all sides, they give themselves up as fodder, but they know the music.
