Les rêves d’Othello
Théâtre des Halles Rue du Roi René 84000 Avignon
Othello dreams of putting on a huge show. Around him gravitate a troupe, technicians, relatives, memories and all those characters that are born when an artist doubts as much as he imagines.
Alone on stage, Alexis Moati conjures up an entire theatre with a jubilant freedom of performance, moving from one voice to another, from one face to another, until the boundary between fiction and reality is blurred.
Behind the rehearsals, the tours and the bursts of creation, a sensitive reflection emerges on the collective, the passage of time and the need to continue telling stories.
A profoundly human journey where theatre becomes a way to reinvent oneself.
Between humor and emotion, each person seeks their place among the others.
