Le bouquetin, disparu du Vaucluse et habitant des Alpes

Muséum Requien – Musée d'Histoire Naturelle 67 rue Joseph Vernet 84000 Avignon

Exhibition

A wild species still present in the Alps despite a past risk of extinction, the ibex also lived in the Vaucluse, as evidenced by fossilized remains.

Installed until autumn at the Requien Museum, the exhibition from the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology of Monaco, with its large photographs, allows one to become familiar with this animal with large horns, agile and fragile at the same time.
A bridge between past and present, where one also becomes familiar with scientific research.

A free activity booklet is available at the museum reception. Feel free to ask for one.
