La trilogie du désir Verdi / Shakespeare

After years of exploring the world of Puccini and Verdi heroines through movement, she turned her attention to male characters, and in Verdi/Shakespeare – Trilogy of Lust, Othello, Macbeth, and Falstaff dominate the stage in her choreographic vision. The result is a danced journey through unbridled appetites and the labyrinths of the mind, set to the original musical score by composer Fabio Fiandrini, which intertwines famous Verdi arias, veritable compasses for the protagonists' feelings and thoughts. The dancers of Artemis and the actor bring to life on stage the "poetic words" of the two giants of music and theatre, making the obsessions, emotions, remorse and repentance of the protagonists resonate in their bodies: the lust that consumes Othello and Macbeth, the vanity that deceives Falstaff and which, by changing form, continue to resurface even in our present.
