La Stupéfaction
Théâtre du Balcon 38, rue Guillaume Puy 84000 Avignon
A whimsical fable that explores with humor and delicacy our ability to regain momentum and desire. A luminous journey where fragility becomes strength and imagination, a refuge.
Peter, Fred and Mathilde, each marked by a tragedy, end up in a timeless place and try to rebuild themselves, transforming their wounds into a story.
Using offbeat reconstructions, absurd exercises, and bursts of poetry, La Stupéfaction is a fable that questions our ability to cope with chaos and rediscover the taste of desire. A time suspended in an imaginary world where three characters, shaken by a tragedy, try to rebuild themselves: Peter is in a total reboot following his stroke, Fred is exhausted by a burnout, and Mathilde, shaken by the brutal end of a toxic relationship, seeks to understand how she got there. Raw, they are reunited in a timeless place, remote in the middle of nature, and seek to put words to their story to better free themselves from it.
Show as part of Fest'Hiver.
