Jodyline Gallavardin – Nuit Blanche

La Scala Provence 3 rue Pourquery de Boisserin 84000 Avignon
Concert
After the success of Lost Paradises, Jodyline Gallavardin released her second album on the Scala Music label: Nuit blanche.
Entering the night as one boards a train, apparitions at the window slip into fleeting reveries. Moving landscapes, these worlds pass through us. The burning dawn, we have not slept. Lyapunov's Evening Reverie in B minor opens this journey. Mirroring this, Scriabin's Fantasy, also in B minor, ends in the light of B major. From dusk to dawn, each piece follows the other with a fluidity evident to the ear. The worlds alternate, metamorphose. The last notes of Vasks' Music for a Summer Evening are the same as the first of Lourié's Berceuse. The final fragile Prelude, in G sharp minor, announces the key of Scriabin's Sonata-Fantasy that follows it. From evening to daybreak: landmark works and little-known gems meet and weave the same dreamlike story of a luminous night.
