Why Joan of Arc? Because Joseph Delteil creates her as unruly and powerful. A burlesque and heartbreaking epic, both lyrical and punk.

If she hears voices, they are those of female emancipation. While respecting the legend, Delteil reinvents Joan of Arc entirely. He paints a portrait of a woman of great beauty.
Brilliantly performed with wild energy by Julie Denisse, a powerful and extravagant actress, and accompanied by the brilliant compositions of François Heim on the accordion.
