The Jazz Story sessions are hosted by Jean-Paul Ricard and Bruno Levée, featuring original vinyl recordings. A moment of sharing and listening is available for all jazz and vinyl enthusiasts. A shared aperitif is available before the conference at 18 p.m.
Alongside the two leaders, Bud Powell and Thelonious Monk, we find a host of talented followers, some of whom were not just imitators but also genuine innovators (John Lewis, Al Haig, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Dodo Marmarosa, Elmo Hope, Herbie Nichols).
